Sorry no pictures again! We are away from any wifi access to use our own computer so pictures are very difficult. We´ll be back to ´civilization´on Wednesday when we travel to Chetmal, a colonial port on the Gulf coast.
We are now in Mayan country visiting ruins, some very large and impressive,Uxmal, and others small, but equally amazing.
Today we rented a car which is a first for us! The road was uncrowded and fairly well-marked.
We arrived at siesta time, at least for us, in deluxe accommodations at the Fly Catcher Inn. Here tucked in beautifully manicured tropical gardens are small casitas, tastifully decorated. I think we might be their only guests, tourists are wary of Mexico this year. We are in a very safe area away from drug smuggling, so no worries.
The weather is perfect, sunny and hot, and spirits are bright!
